Craftera Builders was formed through a strategic collaboration between Dustin Design & Drafting and Gabro Contracting, combining professional architectural design expertise with hands-on construction leadership and trade coordination.
Who We Are
Don Scott - Construction & Operations
Don Scott is a master electrician, electrical contractor, and residential contractor with over 25 years of hands-on construction and project management experience across Ottawa’s renovation and residential construction market.
His background includes whole-home renovations, additions, and complex retrofits. Don brings deep expertise in on-site supervision, trade coordination, scheduling, and quality control, supported by long-standing relationships with trusted local trades and suppliers.

Dustin Poole - Design & Technical Leadership
Dustin Poole is the owner and lead technologist at Dustin Design & Drafting, providing professional design, permitting, and technical leadership for Craftera Builders projects.
His experience includes residential design and space planning, permit-ready construction drawings, coordination with engineers and municipal authorities, and 3D modeling and visualization. By integrating design and construction under one umbrella, Craftera Builders reduces delays, minimizes redesigns, and ensures that projects are buildable, cost-aware, and code-compliant from the outset.

Sharon Lavigne - Administration, Finance & Client Experience
Sharon Lavigne brings over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, spanning on-site operations, sales, project coordination, administration, and financial management.
Her role ensures that every Craftera Builders project is supported by clear contracts and scopes of work, transparent budgeting and invoicing, organized scheduling and documentation, and consistent client communication from start to finish.
